We thought our cute stuffed Fella was getting a bit lonely, so we gave him a friend. Introducing the Super Llama Plushie, designed by our very own $ArtisticAunJuli! It depends on the complexity of the piece. Sometimes, even with a pattern, I mess up the stitching and have to start over. The first llama plush prototype took about four hours to sew, while the second took around seven hours. It was a lot of trial and error to figure out what would work and what wouldn't.
I started plushie-making in 2010, and I've made a fair few since. I create with a lot of media, and making stuffed animals was something I was inspired to try out after seeing all of the amazing plushie creators on deviantART. There's so much talent on dA.
From what I understand, they are hoof-sewn with the loving care of a unicorn and shipped in water-tight containers on the backs of an army of narwhals. I could be wrong, and if I am, that's disappointing, because everyone should have their plushies delivered via narwhal.

- Must be a member of deviantART to enter. Membership is Free;
- No purchase is necessary to enter the contest;
- All entries must be photographs and must be submitted as either a .jpeg or .png file;
- All entries must include BOTH Fella and Super Llama. Fella and Super Llama can be represented using the plushies or the printable Fella and Super Llama which can be found here;
- No photo-manipulation software may be used to change image content; however, you may adjust framing, cropping, color, brightness, and contrast using digital tools;
- Entries will be judged by deviantWEAR Staff on the basis of creativity, artistic merit, and the interaction of Fella and Llama with the place where the photograph is taken;
- Judging criteria will be weighted in whatever fashion the judges deem appropriate;
- No stock may be used in the image including brushes and textures;
- All entries must be made originally for this contest;
- All entries must be the original work of the entrant with the exception of Fella and Super Llama;
- All entries must comply with the dA Etiquette and Submission Policies;
- Winners will be notified via note and will receive a Fella or Super Llama Plush doll at the sole discretion of deviantART;
- All Participants receive a Fella badge on the submission of a qualified entry and 50 winners will be selected to receive either a Fella or Super Llama plush at dA's option.
- The submission deadline is Thursday, October 13, 2011 11:59PM, Los Angeles, CA time.
- You can enter multiple times but you can only win a plushie once.
- Void where prohibited by law.
