Graffiti writers can see what they do as an absolute art form, but many authority figures see it solely as vandalism. Within the community of graffiti artists and the contemporary art world, there’s a constant justification that it’s an art form, not a crime. $draweverywhere, creator of this design, is a graffiti artist himself and finds himself in the center of these conversations quite often. In an exaggerated drawing style, the artist in the graphic runs away from the crime-fighting cop, proclaiming that his artistic expression is ART! Who defines what art is and what it isn’t?
